Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 4 pork chops
- Salt and pepper
- 1 Tbsp. almond flour
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 1/4 tsp. smoked paprika
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 2 - 3 large apples. diced
- 1 Tbsp. Italian seasoning or oregano
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet with 1 Tbsp. of olive oil and 1 Tbsp. of butter over medium-high heat.
- Season the pork chops with salt and pepper. In a small bowl, mix the almond flour, onion powder, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Sprinkle and pat the mixture onto each side of the chops.
- Add the pork chops to the skillet and allow the first side to brown for 3-5 minutes. Flip, lower the heat to medium, cover, and cook for an additional 6-12 minutes, depending on thickness. Internal temp should reach 145 degrees.
- Set pork chops aside and allow to rest. Using the same skillet, heat 1 Tbsp. of butter until melted. Next, add the apples and sauté for 4-7 minutes, until fork tender. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
