Need a healthy snack??? Craving something delicious, but more nutritious than deep-fried French fries?!? These air fryer sweet potato fries are simple, fast, and so yummy!

If you haven't yet jumped on the air fryer band wagon, then this post may not be for you.

Basically a mini convection oven, air fryers cook food quickly by circulating hot air. The result is crispier foods without a lot of oil.

The best part?!! You don't have to heat your oven! Major win in the summer!

Hopefully your summer is filled with lots of burgers. And, the perfect side to any burger is sweet potato fries. Here you'll get a bump in fiber, vitamin C, and vitamin A, while still enjoying FRIES! Sounds good to me.

Ingredients for Air Fryer Sweet Potato Fries

  • Sweet Potatoes
  • Olive Oil
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Garlic Powder
  • Paprika

How Long to Cook Sweet Potato Fries in an Air Fryer:

Set your air fryer to 400 degrees. Then, add the sliced potatoes to the basket. Keep them in a single layer and do not overcrowd. Cook for about 10 minutes, shaking the basket 2-3 times, until brown and crisp.

Air Fryer Fries Tips:

  • Spread potatoes into a single layer and do not overcrowd the basket. Otherwise, they will steam. Crispy fries require space. Depending upon the size of your fryer, each sweet potato will likely need to be cooked separately.
  • Air fryers vary a bit. Check the basket every few minutes. I prefer softer fries. For crispier fries, allow to cook for a few extra minutes.

Ingredients
  • 1 medium sweet potato
  • 1  tsp. olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp. paprika
Instructions
  1. Peel and slice the sweet potato into wedges. Drizzle with olive oil. Then, season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Use clean hands or a spoon to evenly coat.
  2. Air fry at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes, shaking basket a few times, until golden brown.
