Gluten Free Dirty Blondies

With a layer of white chocolate cranberry cookie dough, gluten free vanilla sandwich cookies, AND cinnamon-orange blondies, these slutty gluten free blondies are sinfully delicious! Sometimes it feels good to be a little bad...

Let me start by saying- this is a recipe to make and share with friends. It's not something I recommend eating everyday. Though, you may want to...

Warning: It will be difficult to eat just one and walk away.

So, like I said- invite a few friends over or wrap these up and send them out the door very quickly.

First, I created a gluten free white chocolate & cranberry oatmeal cookie dough. Then, I mixed a vanilla, orange, and cinnamon blondie batter. These are basically the same color and will combine quite beautifully during baking. You won't be able to tell where one ends and the other begins.

Oh- and the center is lined with vanilla sandwich cookies!

At first, 20 cookies tucked inside of cookie dough and blondie batter seemed a bit much. Or is there even such a thing?!? Anyway, you can break the cookies into pieces... But just because you CAN, does not mean that you SHOULD!

I like to call that little experimental section a M.I.S.T.A.K.E.

Go with whole cookies. It's just better! And, you will truly be able to make 20 satisfying servings. Might as well make each bite count.

Gluten Free Blondies vs. Brownies

Often, people press cookie dough in a baking dish and call it a blondie. Technically, that's a cookie bar. Blondies are supposed to be a brownie without the cocoa powder. Think of a gooey, vanilla brownie.

Middle Layer

Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. COOKIE DOUGH LAYER:  In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter until smooth. Then, cream the butter and brown sugar. Next, beat in the maple syrup, vanilla, eggs, baking soda, salt, and flour. Stir in the oats, white chocolate chips, and dried cranberries.
  3. BLONDIE LAYER: In a second large mixing bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar. Then, beat in the maple syrup, vanilla, and eggs. Next, beat in the orange juice, milk, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and flour.
  4. Grease a 9x13 baking dish. Spread the cookie dough on the bottom of the baking dish. Then, top with the sandwich cookies. Next, pour and carefully spread the blondie batter over the cookies.
