Gluten Free Garlic Knots

Soft on the inside, buttery and golden on the outside- these gluten free garlic knots make a delightful appetizer or snack!

It's always seemed a little strange to me that we like to pair pizza with garlic bread or breadsticks and somehow call that a complete meal... Talk about carb overload! I'd much rather enjoy garlic knots as a flavorful side to go with my chicken and broccoli.

And, finding worthwhile gluten free pizza at restaurants can be difficult- I've never even seen gluten free garlic knots. But now, you can easily make your own!

Using just 4 ingredients, you can create a soft, gluten free dough. Then, simply roll, tie, brush with olive oil, and bake. In just 20 minutes your knots will be soft and fluffy on the inside and golden brown on the outside. Finally, brush or sauté in a skillet with some butter and garlic.

What are garlic knots?

Garlic knots are basically a form of garlic bread. They were first created in the 1940s as a way to make use of leftover pizza dough scraps. They were first spotted at a pizzeria in Brooklyn. Today, you can find garlic knots in most pizzerias and Italian restaurants.
