So, I've never been to Disney.
Well, I was 3...but I don't recall any of it. Does that even count?!?
And I did live in California, so I have ventured to Disney Land once or twice. But, is dole whip even a thing there??? If it is, I missed it. Well, my family hasn't stopped talking about it since their trip to Disney (while I stayed home and watched the dogs...)
I imagine it's kind of like pineapple soft serve. Which sounds sweet, creamy, and amazing! A refreshing summertime treat! With 5 simple ingredients and 5 minutes, you too can make this popular Disney copycat dole whip!
And since I can't accurately judge the authenticity- I shared with a few friends!
Start with some milk. Canned coconut milk will give you the thickest and creamiest consistency, but 2%, whole, or even almond milk will do. Then, add some frozen pineapple, lemon juice, and a little sweetener of your choice- sugar, brown sugar, maple syrup, stevia, honey, or date sugar. Now, blend in some whipped topping for more creaminess and a lighter consistency. Eat right away if you enjoy soft serve or freeze and enjoy later!
The ingredients seem more like a pineapple smoothie- but pineapple is already sweet! No need to add a ton of sugar!
What are you waiting for?!? Time to enjoy this super simple and fresh, frozen treat!
You can find soft serve Dole whip at Disney theme parks.
For a sweet and creamy pineapple dessert your whole family will love- this healthy dole whip is super simple and refreshing!
