Chicken seems like the dinner meat of choice. As a flavorful and cheaper protein, it's not hard to see why! But, sometimes we get stuck in a dinner rut. We rotate only a few weekly dishes. I mean...tacos are delish, but week after week, anything can seem dull and boring!
This week- let's spice up your chicken dinner! This simple Buffalo sauce with sweet honey makes an irresistible combo! Spicy and sweet- the perfect balance! And, you can easily control the amount of heat and sweet.
Top chicken with this spicy sauce and pair with some veggies for a complete meal.
3 Tbsp. butter
4 Tbsp. honey
2-3 Tbsp. hot sauce
This will likely become your new favorite condiment! It's an unexpected topping for so many things- biscuits, cornbread, roasted veggies, bread, pizza, stir fry, pork chops, salmon, or even chocolate ice cream! Simply melt the butter and whisk these ingredients together.
This dish will last in the fridge for 3-4 days. It also freezes well for up to 3 months.
Dredging is when meat or vegetables are given a light coating with flour or another dry ingredient prior to cooking. While not absolutely necessary, I highly recommend. This thin coating will keep the chicken from drying out or becoming stuck to the pan. It just may become your new favorite way to cook chicken!
Spicy Buffalo sauce meets sweet honey in these hot honey chicken and rice bowls! Top rice, sautéed veggies, and chicken with this sweet sauce for a complete dinner your whole family will love!
